Darren W. Chaumont, D.D.S., is a native of Lake Charles. He is a graduate of A.M. Barbe High School and McNeese State University where he earned his bachelors degree in Biological Sciences in 2001. While attending MSU he was president of Blue Key National Honor Fraternity and served as an ambassador for Alumni Affairs. Completing his education at MSU, Dr.Chaumont graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Dr.Chaumont graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in May 2005. During his four years of clinical experience he worked in clinics across the state and traveled to Jamaica for a two week externship. He is currently a member of Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity and the American Dental Association. Dr.Chaumont met his fiancé Melinda during his first year of dental school, and they are engaged to be married in March of 2006.
